Both Denver-area Rodizio Grills will host the Ultimate Churrasco & Dessert Experience on October 31. The $59.99 event adds filet mignon, ribeye, New York strip, shrimp and unlimited premium desserts to the regular tableside meal.

À-la-carte brunch continues in the Cascade Dining Room after a longstanding trail-food tradition disappears.

Timberline Lodge has discontinued the breakfast buffet that became a destination for Pacific Crest Trail hikers. The Cascade Dining Room remains open, with a current à-la-carte brunch menu featuring egg breakfasts and huckleberry French toast.

Kumo Japanese Seafood Buffet’s website advertises Korean barbecue as a forthcoming addition. The Parma restaurant already combines sushi, hot dishes and hot pot, but has not posted a barbecue launch date, menu or price.

Feil’s Supper Club named September 5 its final night as the family retired after 57 years. Its closure also ends documented Sunday brunch and Germanfest buffet traditions, from omelets and broasted chicken to rouladen and spaetzle.

The Katy buffet known for seafood, sushi and tamales is building a $2 million interior in Plano.

Feast Buffet is bringing its sprawling Katy concept to Plano with a nearly 20,000-square-foot restaurant. The existing buffet spans seafood, sushi, hibachi and Mexican dishes; the North Texas project remained under construction in September.
