Takumi Sushi has opened in Hemet, California, with an all-you-can-eat menu that gives equal attention to nigiri, hand rolls and a substantial collection of specialty rolls. The restaurant at 2701 West Florida Avenue lists October 9 as its opening date.
Its official website advertises adult AYCE lunch at $29.99 and dinner at $34.99. The printed menu sets dinner pricing from 3 p.m. until closing on weekdays and throughout weekends and holidays. Children ages 3–8 are listed at $19.99 all day.
The nigiri list is served one piece at a time and extends beyond tuna and salmon to yellowtail, pepper albacore, eel, scallop, octopus, squid, mackerel and surf clam. Bluefin tuna also appears on that AYCE menu, alongside sweet egg and a quail-egg shooter. Oyster shooters and raw shrimp are specifically marked for dinner.
The roll page contains 44 specialty-roll listings before its separate tempura, no-rice and baked sections. Rainbow and caterpillar share space with Mango Salmon, Takumi’s Special and Double Down. This is the sort of menu where “one more roll” can require a second look at the page.
The no-rice section adds cucumber and lettuce wraps, salmon and yellowtail carpaccio, and other choices built around fish rather than a rice-filled center. Baked options include Sapporo, Asahi and Volcano; the tempura section includes Golden Tiger, Las Vegas and Crispy Rice.
Hand rolls include spicy tuna, spicy scallop, shrimp tempura, eel-cucumber and salmon skin. The kitchen side offers gyoza, vegetable and shrimp tempura, baked mussels, teriyaki chicken and spicy chicken karaage. Tonkotsu, black-garlic and miso ramen appear alongside udon, giving the meal a possible noodle detour. The menu lists a 50-cent charge to add spice to the noodles.
Takumi sets a 90-minute AYCE limit. A few dishes have specific quantity limits: chicken katsu is one order per customer, while salmon and yellowtail kama are each one order per table. The dessert and beverage sections carry separate prices, so the printed menu distinguishes those extras from the AYCE selection.
The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. Monday through Friday and 11:30 a.m. on weekends. Closing time is 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For the dinner crowd, the extra $5 brings those oyster shooters and raw shrimp into consideration—two useful details to know before choosing a lunch date.
