Chopsticks Wrapper Hack

Unknown | Photography by Buffet Authority

A red paper wrapper earns a second job on the table. Fold it evenly in half lengthwise twice, then in half crosswise once, and the sleeve becomes an impromptu chopstick rest—a little perch for the eating ends between bites.

The photograph brings that small piece of ingenuity into focus: pale wooden chopsticks stretch diagonally across the dark tabletop, resting on the bright folded paper while the background dissolves into a soft blur. It is an ordinary restaurant detail, given a moment of its own.

Nothing extra to ask for, no table contact, no napkins sticking to used chopsticks. Just three folds, and the wrapper gets to stay for dinner.
