WACA Bros Opens AYCE Korean BBQ and Hot Pot in Seattle, Washington

The new restaurant occupies the former Howpot space in the Chinatown–International District.

October 19, 2026 • Washington • BY BUFFET AUTHORITY

WACA Bros has opened an all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue and hot-pot restaurant at 221 5th Avenue South in Seattle, Washington. Seattle Met reported the opening October 9, identifying the Chinatown–International District space as the former Howpot. That restaurant also offered AYCE hot pot and Korean barbecue, so this is a new name at an address already accustomed to a busy tabletop.

The guest-cooked format puts grills and hot pots at the center of the meal. WACA’s restaurant ordering listing identifies the same address and menu categories for broths and hot-pot meats. Restaurant hiring material describes staff helping guests with the cooking equipment and changing grill plates between rounds.
