Uno Pizzeria Joins the AYCE Ranks With $14.99 Bottomless Deep Dish

The 10-week promotion starts today at 21 restaurants after Uno’s $99 Pizza Pass sold out.

Add another familiar name to the all-you-can-eat landscape.

Beginning today, September 5, Uno Pizzeria & Grill is offering Bottomless Pizza & Salad for $14.99 per person at 21 participating restaurants, giving diners unlimited individual deep-dish pizzas along with unlimited House or Caesar salad.

The promotion runs through November 13 and is dine-in only. Beverages are extra.

And this is not simply unlimited cheese pizza. Eight individual deep-dish varieties are included: Cheese & Tomato, Prima Pepperoni, Chicago Classic, Numero Uno, Four Cheese & Pesto, Farmer’s Market, Chicago Meat Market, and Steak & Cheese. Pizzas are served one at a time, with another available once the previous one is finished.

For anyone who has not thought about Uno in a while, that is a fairly persuasive invitation to get reacquainted.

The promotion follows an even more aggressive offer announced last month. Uno released 1,000 $99 Pizza Passes, allowing holders to visit a participating restaurant once per day throughout the same 10-week period for unlimited pizza, salad and fountain drinks. Demand was strong enough to sell the original allotment within hours and overwhelm the promotional website. Uno subsequently offered another 100 passes; those are now sold out as well.

The regular $14.99 bottomless offer requires no pass or advance purchase.

Uno itself is considerably smaller than many diners may remember. The company was touting roughly 200 locations worldwide near the end of the 2000s; its current U.S. restaurant locator lists 37 locations across 12 states. Twenty-one of those restaurants are participating in the bottomless promotion.

The original Pizzeria Uno opened in Chicago in 1943 and helped make deep-dish pizza one of the city’s signature foods. More than eight decades later, the chain is giving that familiar specialty a decidedly Buffet Authority-friendly treatment.

For the next ten weeks, at least, Uno is officially in the AYCE business.

We’ll take it.
