TG Steakhouse is restoring Wednesday and Thursday lunch at its Richardson, TX, restaurant while preparing to expand into Denton, TX, according to a September 30 announcement from the operator.
The restaurant advertised the returning lunch service with prices starting at $28 and described the Denton restaurant as opening soon. It did not pair that expansion announcement with a confirmed opening date.
Richardson’s TG Steakhouse operates at 518 West Arapaho Road, Suite 133. Its Brazilian rodizio format combines meats served at the table with a Market Table and hot dishes, making lunch a different proposition from ordering a single steak and a side.
The return adds two midweek lunch days
The announcement specifically names Wednesdays and Thursdays. TG’s website separately lists Friday lunch and weekend offerings, so the update adds midweek access to a restaurant that already presents several meal periods and dining packages.
The distinction between those packages is worth keeping. The website offers a salad-bar option, a Classic Grill selection and a Full Experience, with different prices and inclusions. The newly advertised $28 figure is a starting price; it should not be read as a promise that every meat selection or every existing package is included at that amount.
The September 30 restaurant announcement, preserved on DallasMeal, also promotes an $8 caipirinha. The drink is advertised separately from lunch, rather than as part of the starting meal price.
Denton remains the next location to watch
The Denton project gives TG a second North Texas city in its announced plans. For now, the operator’s update establishes the intention to open there, without providing enough detail to treat it as an operating restaurant.
The immediate change is in Richardson, where diners gain two additional weekdays for a Brazilian steakhouse lunch. Exact hours and the inclusions attached to the starting price should be checked with the restaurant at 469-206-0036, particularly while its standing website and newer announcement are being brought into alignment.
The Denton opening will be a separate milestone. Until its date and operating details are announced, Richardson is where the returning lunch can be followed directly.
