Seapot’s Sacramento, CA, restaurant is offering reservations, while five more cities are still waiting for the chain’s conveyor belts and tabletop cooking. Anaheim, Pasadena, Burbank and Northridge, CA, and Troy, MI, remain listed as coming soon.
The Sacramento restaurant is at 6009 Florin Road. Its published booking rules now give larger groups a way to plan a visit to the all-you-can-eat hot pot and Korean barbecue chain.
The ingredients come around while the broth cooks
Seapot’s format combines individual hot pots with a conveyor belt circulating ingredients through the dining room. Guests choose what comes past and cook it in their own broth, with the chain also offering shabu-shabu and Korean barbecue.
The individual pots give each diner a meal to tend. Meat, vegetables and seafood can take turns in the broth as more ingredients make their way around the room.
Four Southern California projects remain ahead: Anaheim, Pasadena, Burbank and Northridge. The Troy restaurant is planned for Oakland Mall. None of those five pages announces a firm opening date.
Reservations begin with a party of six
Sacramento accepts reservations for six or more people. Smaller parties use the first-come, first-served walk-in list, and the full group must be present before a reserved party is seated.
Reserved tables are held for five minutes past the booking time. Groups that fall below six should call ahead; otherwise, they may be moved to the waitlist when they arrive.
Parties larger than six may be split across tables. The restaurant also lists a VIP room for 23 people, with arrangements made by calling 916-277-8368.
For a large gathering, those details are worth settling before everyone meets on Florin Road. Sacramento has a reservation process in place; the other five expansion projects still await their opening announcements.
