Red Lobster has added OLD BAY Seasoned Scampi to Endless Shrimp at participating U.S. restaurants, expanding the current lineup to six preparations beginning October 12. The chain announced the addition October 8.
The advertised price remains $24.99 at most participating locations, with one side and Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Diners can mix and match the six flavors throughout the meal. The new scampi joins the existing Garlic Shrimp Scampi, so the lineup now accommodates a fairly specific level of butter-and-seasoning enthusiasm.
The other choices are Garlic Bread-Crusted Shrimp, Shrimp Linguini Alfredo, Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp and Walt’s Favorite Shrimp. Red Lobster’s October announcement lists all six together, with OLD BAY as the latest addition.
The addition is noteworthy to the endless shrimp enthusiasts (yes, it’s ok) or to anyone keeping a mental inventory of Endless Shrimp seasons. Red Lobster brought the promotion back for a limited run April 20, when the new preparation was Marry Me Shrimp, served in tomato cream sauce with a garlic-and-herb crumble.
A further return August 17 introduced Garlic Bread-Crusted Shrimp, which pairs a buttery garlic breadcrumb coating with marinara sauce. That five-flavor lineup carried into the fall; OLD BAY Scampi now adds a sixth choice. Marry Me Shrimp is absent from the current list, so spring’s tomato-cream relationship has given way to a different autumn arrangement.
In its August release, the company said the spring return exceeded expectations and prompted another limited-time run. October’s news extends the selection within that offering, while keeping the promotion temporary.
Also beginning October 12, Red Lobster added weekday Late Night Happy Hour from 9 p.m. to closing at participating restaurants. That creates a later drinks-and-starters window alongside its traditional afternoon happy hour, although local beverage restrictions apply.
Endless Shrimp remains a dine-in offer, with prices and participation varying by location. The company excludes holidays and has not announced an end date in its October release. For now, the useful development is quite straightforward: one more shrimp preparation to consider before deciding what the next round should be.
