Olive Garden has scheduled nine restaurant openings across six states between October and December, starting in Orlando, Florida, and finishing in Austin, Texas. Texas accounts for three of the new restaurants and Florida two, with Ohio, Idaho, Colorado, and Georgia each getting one more address for soup, salad, and breadsticks.
The company’s new-location calendar supplies the dates, along with individual street addresses and telephone numbers. These are scheduled openings and remain subject to change, particularly for the later stops on a rollout that stretches almost to New Year’s.
Nine dates on the calendar
♛ October 21 — Orlando–Grand National, Florida.
♛ October 26 — Tomball–Tomball Park, Texas.
♛ November 2 — Edinburg–Trenton Road, Texas.
♛ November 9 — Oregon–Navarre Avenue, Ohio.
♛ November 9 — Rexburg–Mikan Drive, Idaho.
♛ December 14 — Westminster–US 36, Colorado.
♛ December 14 — Oviedo–Red Bug Lake Road, Florida.
♛ December 21 — Hinesville–Highway 84, Georgia.
♛ December 28 — Austin–Highway 290, Texas.
Oregon is the Ohio city, keeping this particular breadstick expansion east of the state with the same name. Two pairs of restaurants share debut dates: Oregon and Rexburg on November 9, followed by Westminster and Oviedo on December 14.
Pasta has its own calendar
The everyday refill ritual remains the chain’s never-ending soup or salad and breadsticks with an adult entrée, served in the restaurant. Olive Garden’s separate, limited-time Never-Ending Pasta Bowl is currently advertised from $14.99, with some locations varying in price and availability.
That promotion offers pasta and sauce refills, with protein toppings available for an additional charge. Olive Garden says the topping charge is paid once, after which diners can switch among toppings on subsequent bowls. Commitment to one protein is apparently optional.
The current sauce lineup includes Alfredo, meat sauce, and five-cheese marinara, plus limited-time spicy Alfredo. Crispy shrimp fritta is another limited-time addition among the toppings. Those seasonal choices accompany the current promotion; the opening calendar makes no promise that they will still be on offer when the December restaurants debut.
The regular soup-or-salad and breadstick refills provide the continuing thread through the nine openings. The seasonal pasta bowl may have its own finish line, but the new restaurants give six states more places for the familiar request for another basket.
