Northwood Casino Near Lynden Washington Adds BBQ to Its Saturday T-Bone Buffet

The $29.95 spread pairs cooked-to-order steaks with rotating barbecue dishes at the existing Prime Buffet.

October 18, 2026 • Washington • BY BUFFET AUTHORITY

Nooksack Northwood Casino near Lynden, Washington, is putting barbecue alongside the T-bones at its Saturday buffet. The existing Prime Buffet advertises the meal from 5–9 p.m. for $29.95 to the general public, with steaks cooked to order and a rotating selection of barbecue dishes.

The casino’s own announcement names beef burnt ends, pork ribs and grilled salmon among the specials, along with sides. That is a useful amount of competition for the steak before the first plate has even left the line.

Northwood calls it a new Saturday buffet, but this is a recent format change rather than an October opening. A September 5 calendar listing already advertised the BBQ and T-bones meal at the same price and hours. The October calendar describes the program as continuing.

A different Saturday lineup

Steak was already part of the Saturday attraction. The casino’s September 2025 calendar promoted a T-bone Steak & Lobster Buffet, describing T-bones with unlimited sides, salads and desserts for $27.95.

The current $29.95 offer puts the emphasis on barbecue, and lobster is not among the dishes listed in its announcement. With different menus, those prices describe two different Saturday offers.

Cooked-to-order steaks remain the main draw in the new description, with the barbecue selection giving regulars more to choose around them. Northwood has not published a steak size or detailed repeat-steak terms. The meal is served in its longstanding Prime Buffet, which the casino describes as an all-you-can-eat venue.

The buffet is one of three dining outlets at the tribal casino, alongside Chefs restaurant and Thirst Sports Bar. The Nooksack Indian Tribe says it has operated Northwood since 2007. The property is at 9750 Northwood Road, close to the Canadian border.

One upcoming Saturday needs a separate calendar check. Northwood advertises a Monster Ball Buffet on October 31 from 3–8 p.m. for $29.95, rather than the regular Saturday evening window. The standing BBQ and T-bones listing remains 5–9 p.m.; Halloween has its own dinner plans.
