Moon Spice Terminal has opened in College Park, Georgia, with a weekday Indian lunch buffet at 1634 Virginia Avenue. Its October 5 grand-opening menu included goat curry, tandoori chicken and palak paneer.
The restaurant’s opening announcement advertised buffet service Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A $9.99 introductory price ran October 5–9. That opening-week bargain has completed its run.
A separate grand-opening buffet menu lays out the food. Chicken appears as Chicken 65, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala, alongside Goat Curry. It is a fairly thorough chicken delegation, with goat securing its own place at the table.
Vegetarian selections on the launch spread include Mix Vegetable Curry, Chana Masala and Palak Paneer. Pulao Rice, Vegetable Fried Rice and Naan provide the accompaniments, with Rice Pudding for dessert.
The condiments deserve a mention, too: Mixed Pickle, Mint Sauce, Tamarind Sauce and Raita are listed on the flyer. It is a spread with something sharp, something cooling and more than one sauce to revisit alongside the naan.
The menu is specifically labeled for the October 5 grand opening. It provides a useful first look at the buffet, although the restaurant has not promised that every launch dish will be served every weekday. Its official profile continues to describe weekday lunch-buffet service.
College Park’s mayor and city social accounts have welcomed the new restaurant. The restaurant’s own flyers use an Atlanta mailing address, but the business is being introduced locally as a College Park opening; the repeated restaurant address is 1634 Virginia Avenue.
The opening flyer lists $14.99 as the regular lunch price. That is the rate to keep in mind after the five-day promotion, with weekday hours leaving a four-hour window for the new buffet. Moon Spice Terminal can be reached at 770-334-1264.
