La Cabrona Pairs a Buffet With Día de los Muertos in Fort Worth Texas

A $35 indoor spread joins the free November 1 festival at Artisan Circle.

October 23, 2026 • Texas • BY BUFFET AUTHORITY

La Cabrona Cocina Mexicana is putting its $35 all-you-can-eat buffet alongside a much larger November 1 gathering in Fort Worth. The restaurant and Artisan Circle will hold their third annual Día de los Muertos celebration, with an indoor buffet, outdoor street food and live mariachi.

The restaurant’s announcement sets the free outdoor festival for Sunday, November 1, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. La Cabrona, at 2933 Crockett Street, will serve the buffet inside while outdoor stands offer tacos and elote.

Fort Worth Magazine’s dining coverage describes chiles rellenos and enchiladas rojas among La Cabrona’s specialties, with scratch-made tortillas accompanying the spread. A complete event buffet menu has not been released, but the $35 indoor AYCE offering is confirmed by the restaurant itself.

The buffet already has a place in La Cabrona’s week. A February 2025 profile described Sunday brunch with buffet service and mariachi, so November 1 brings an established meal into the restaurant’s 2026 holiday celebration.

La Cabrona opened in fall 2024 through the family behind Terra Mediterranean and Ali Baba. Its cooking draws on chef Rosario’s family recipes from Monterrey and the state of Nuevo León. The same family that helped build a local following for Mediterranean buffets has another set of family recipes to put on the table.

Día de los Muertos, traditionally observed November 1 and 2, honors loved ones who have died. At Artisan Circle, the advertised celebration includes Cultura Markets vendors, La Pulga Spirits, live music and pop-ups from businesses including Tandy Leather and Insomnia Cookies. A roaming Catrina will also make appearances.

The outdoor festival is open to all ages, with free parking advertised. Food is a separate purchase, including the $35 buffet in the dining room. The event page does not specify the buffet’s own service hours, so diners should confirm those separately from the festival’s 11 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule.
