Hungry Pot has reached Warwick, Rhode Island, where local food creators are reporting that the new all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue, hot pot and sushi restaurant is open. Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, is still on the way.
The Warwick location occupies the former On The Border at 650 Bald Hill Road. WPRI covered the coming-soon signs in August; newer posts from MoGoodEats and a grand-opening account by McflyEats describe meals inside.
McflyEats’ visit, posted on 8te, describes a choice of Korean barbecue, hot pot, sushi or a combination. Each hot pot diner gets an individual pot and broth choice, and the sauce bar includes suggested recipes, appetizers and desserts.
The Hungry Pot brand already operates elsewhere in New England. WPRI identified Warwick as its first Rhode Island location, taking over a restaurant that closed in May 2025.
Shrewsbury plans at the former Hooters
In Shrewsbury, Hungry Pot is planned for 378 Maple Avenue at Marketplace Shrewsbury. Developer Sam Adams confirmed the tenant in August coverage by Patch, which reported extensive renovations without a firm opening date.
That space previously housed Hooters, which opened in 2015 and closed in 2026.
