The former Joe’s Crab Shack building in Greenville, SC, has a new dining rhythm: sushi, hibachi and return trips to the buffet. Grand Asian Buffet is open at 102 East Beacon Drive, off Pelham Road.
The Greenville News reported the opening September 29, bringing an all-you-can-eat option to the former seafood restaurant.
Seafood shares the table with sushi and hibachi
Grand Asian Buffet serves Chinese and Asian-inspired dishes, with dedicated sushi and seafood sections alongside entrees, appetizers and sides. Hibachi and wok-cooked selections add freshly prepared choices to the meal.
That combination lets diners build lunch or dinner in stages. Sushi can share a plate with a hot entree, while a hibachi selection gives the next trip a different direction. Seafood remains part of the address’s identity, now among a much broader range of food.
The restaurant’s website, cited in local coverage, also lists salads and desserts. The menu leaves room for a sushi-focused meal, a plate of cooked dishes or a little of each, with dessert waiting at the end.
Open for lunch and dinner with Tuesdays off
The reported hours begin at 11 a.m. and run to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, except Tuesday, when the restaurant is closed. Friday and Saturday service extends to 10 p.m.
The buffet is now serving guests; September 29 is the date of the opening report, rather than an announced first day of business.
