Fresh Harvest Buffet Adds Rotating Hispanic Heritage Menu at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa

Weekly International Station specials run through Oct. 15 at the revived casino buffet.

September 15, 2026 • Florida • BY BUFFET AUTHORITY

Fresh Harvest Buffet at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is giving its International Station a monthlong Hispanic Heritage Month rotation, with a changing lineup of Latin dishes scheduled from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15.

Seminole Hard Rock says the station will feature different selections each week, with pollo a la brasa, ropa vieja, ceviche and pollo asado among the dishes named for the promotion. A separate Sept. 17 resort announcement also highlights seafood paella at Fresh Harvest as part of Sabores, a property-wide collection of Latin-inspired specials. p>

At Fresh Harvest, the rotating station is only one part of a substantial operation. The buffet currently lists seven live-action food areas: American Bounty, Cucina Italiana, Asian Kitchen, International, Raw Bar, Salad Bar and Desserts. The regular spread ranges from Southern-style fried chicken and slow-smoked ribs to sushi, dim sum, tacos, seafood and house-made desserts. Lunch begins at $29.95 on weekdays, while regular dinner pricing ranges from $39.95 to $49.95 depending on the day. No separate surcharge is listed for the Hispanic Heritage Month rotation.

The promotion also lands at a buffet with a more unusual recent history than the menu alone suggests. Fresh Harvest closed when Seminole’s Florida casinos shut down on March 20, 2020. Seminole Hard Rock Tampa reopened two months later on May 21, but Fresh Harvest did not return with it. The buffet remained closed until Jan. 23, 2025 — nearly five years after the pandemic shutdown.

Its comeback was substantial. Seminole Hard Rock said the reopening created about 200 jobs and initially restored Fresh Harvest with six live-action kitchens and a Thursday-through-Sunday schedule. An Asian Kitchen added in August 2025 brought the count to seven, and the buffet has since expanded to daily service. In practical buffet terms, this was less a reopening of a single serving line than the restart of a small food-producing ecosystem.

Hispanic Heritage Month has quickly become part of that rebuilt operation. In 2025, Fresh Harvest used the same Sept. 15-Oct. 15 window for a menu that changed daily and weekly and drew from nine countries, including Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Peru and Spain. The 2026 version continues the idea through the International Station rather than treating the celebration as a single themed dinner.

For a buffet that spent almost five years missing from the Tampa dining landscape, the return of recurring seasonal rotations may be the quieter sign of how fully Fresh Harvest has come back: the doors are open, all seven stations are working, and once again there is enough going on that keeping track of what is on the buffet this week can qualify as actual news.
