The pancakes are returning to Franklin Rod & Gun Club in Franklin, Massachusetts. Its public all-you-can-eat breakfast resumes Sunday, October 18, after renovations to the club’s hall interrupted the monthly gathering.
Breakfast runs from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at 53 Florence Street. Adults still pay $10, children 12 and younger pay $5, and payment is cash only. The club is private, but this breakfast is open to the public.
The club’s announcement, reproduced October 16 by Franklin Matters, says the hall updates are finished after two months of work. It invites diners to see the refreshed room while returning to the same breakfast lineup: eggs, sausage, pancakes, home fries, French toast, corned beef hash, baked beans and coffee.
Corned beef hash and baked beans give this a little more character than a room full of pancakes alone. The club’s official breakfast page also lists juice and a surprise menu item among its regular offerings, leaving one small part of the spread to be discovered in person.
The return has been on the calendar for a while. A September 12 notice said the September 20 breakfast could not go ahead because work at the club was taking longer than expected. That notice pointed guests toward October 18; the new announcement confirms the hall is ready.
This is an established monthly meal getting back to work. The club normally hosts breakfast on the third Sunday, and its website includes photographs from a Sunday breakfast in March 2023. A July 2026 announcement carried the same $10 adult and $5 child prices.
Franklin Rod & Gun Club describes itself as a nonprofit sporting club on Uncas Pond, incorporated in 1936, with conservation, fishing, hunting and boating among its interests. The breakfast opens the clubhouse to a wider circle of neighbors for a few hours each month.
Sunday’s invitation is straightforward: come see the renovated hall, bring cash and have breakfast. The club says the familiar food will be waiting in the updated room.
