Andaaz is serving its lunch buffet again in Asheville, North Carolina, after Helene flooding destroyed its Biltmore Village restaurant. The comeback brings seven-day buffet service to a new downtown address: 15 Page Avenue, Suite 100, on the ground floor of the Cambria Hotel across from Grove Arcade.
The restaurant reopened during summer 2026, according to 828 News NOW’s September 29 report. Andaaz’s website confirms the return and lists the daily lunch buffet as 11:30am – 2:30pm. A familiar meal now has a different neighborhood and seven places on the weekly calendar.
What came through the flood
Owner Raj Singh told 828 News NOW that nearly eleven feet of floodwater entered the former restaurant during Helene in September 2024. Rather than return to Biltmore Village, the business rebuilt downtown. Singh said the new Andaaz took about a year and a half to come together.
Some pieces of the old restaurant made that move. Statues that survived the flooding are now inside the new dining room, a return Andaaz described in a September 9 social post cited by 828 News NOW. They carry a connection to the former place into a restaurant otherwise built around a new start.
The kitchen has changed, too. A new executive chef has added to the restaurant’s broader menu of dishes from different regions of India, according to 828 News NOW. The report does not detail the daily buffet selection.
The new restaurant includes a private dining room that Andaaz says seats up to forty guests. Its lunch reservation policy covers parties of six or more, making room for a group reunion alongside the restaurant’s own return.
Dinner has a separate service, 4:30pm – 9:00pm Sunday through Thursday and 4:30pm – 9:30pm Friday and Saturday. The buffet belongs to the daily three-hour lunch window, while evenings turn to the dinner menu.
Andaaz’s rebuilding has brought a new address, chef, and dining room, along with a few surviving reminders of Biltmore Village. The everyday lunch buffet supplies another connection between the two homes: after a long interruption, that part of the restaurant’s routine is back, seven days a week.
