EXPERIENCE
Market Place Buffet is Rampart Casino’s traditional all-you-can-eat dining room in Summerlin, a 12,000-square-foot operation built around culinary action stations, rotating dinner themes and comparatively moderate casino-buffet pricing. The room was rebuilt under the Market Place name in 2019 with seating for roughly 700. It has the capacity of a major resort buffet, while its schedule is organized around weekday lunch, themed nightly dinners and weekend brunch.
The layout divides the selection into recognizable station zones rather than one continuous line. Salad, soup and fruit, Asian dishes, Italian fare, carving selections, made-to-order pasta and desserts each have their place, with staffed counters adding food prepared or finished in front of the guest. That arrangement makes repeated trips easy to plan: the room is large, but the categories remain legible instead of disappearing into a single long run of trays.
Patio dining gives Market Place a second setting that remains unusual among Las Vegas buffets. Tables extend the meal into the resort’s landscaped grounds, putting open air and natural light within reach of a format more often associated with enclosed casino dining rooms. In comfortable weather, the patio changes the character of the meal without changing the buffet itself.
The weekly rotation provides the clearest reason to choose one visit over another. Lunch stays broad and conventional; dinner moves through Deli Night, Fiesta Night, prime rib, seafood and Aloha themes, with seasonal promotions occasionally taking a place in the schedule. Weekend Champagne Brunch shifts the same station framework toward eggs, breakfast meats and daytime dishes. Market Place works as a full-scale neighborhood casino buffet whose identity changes enough across the week to make the choice of service part of the experience.
FOOD
Market Place Buffet keeps a familiar casino-buffet backbone in place, then changes the emphasis by meal and day. The everyday structure covers salads and soups, Asian dishes, Italian comfort food, carved meats and desserts, with a build-your-own pasta station as one of the clearest made-to-order components. Wood-fired pizza and rotisserie meats add familiar hot-line choices. Specialty dinners layer their own dishes onto that base instead of rebuilding the entire buffet from scratch.
The pasta station is one of the useful points of customization: choose ingredients and sauce, then let the cook finish the plate. Nearby Italian and American sections add pizza, roasted meats and rotating hot dishes. The Asian side can bring items such as honey walnut shrimp and chow mein, while carving selections change with the service. A salad, soup and fruit section gives the plate an easy route back toward lighter food between the heavier choices.
Monday’s Deli Night is the clearest recurring departure from the general buffet. The spread turns toward New York-style traditional deli food with matzo-ball soup, corned beef, pastrami, lox, whitefish salad, potato knishes, latkes, brisket and noodle kugel. Seeded rye, mustard, horseradish and the expected deli accompaniments make it possible to build a sandwich, assemble a plate of hot specialties, or move between both. Few buffet themes are this specific about the kind of meal they are trying to reproduce.
Tuesday’s Fiesta Night changes the selection again. Taco and nacho fixings bring ground beef, cheese and peppery salsas into a build-your-own format, and warm churros with chocolate provide a natural finish. Saturday’s Aloha Night is more meat-forward, with oxtail stew and a whole roasted suckling pig giving the island-themed service a character clearly removed from the weekday lunch spread.
Prime rib gives the carving station a defined role on its designated dinner services. Friday’s dedicated Seafood Buffet is the week’s premium service at $55.99, compared with $35.99 for the standard themed dinners. Its format puts seafood at the center while the regular station structure continues around it. Those nights are less about adding one special dish than shifting which part of the buffet gets the first plate.
Weekend Champagne Brunch folds breakfast into the same station system. Made-to-order omelets, eggs, bacon and sausage sit alongside lunch-leaning dishes, carving selections, fruit and sweets, so a plate can move from breakfast to buffet lunch without a hard boundary between the two. Champagne is part of the named brunch format, while an all-you-can-drink beer-and-wine add-on is available with any buffet service for guests who want it.
Dessert stays in classic buffet territory with cakes, pies, bread pudding, frozen sweets and sugar-free choices, while themed items can join the rotation. Market Place’s food program is easiest to read through the calendar: Monday deli, Tuesday Fiesta, Friday seafood, Saturday Aloha and weekend brunch each put a different set of foods in the foreground while the regular buffet remains recognizable underneath.
