EXPERIENCE

America’s Incredible Pizza Company is moving into its next chapter as Incredible Food & Fun. The official name change explains the wider idea: an all-you-can-eat meal inside a family entertainment center, with arcade games and attractions giving a visit more to do than dinner alone. This is the company with restaurants in Springfield, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, San Antonio and Memphis, separate from John’s Incredible Pizza Company.

The buffet still has plenty of reason to keep pizza in the conversation. Cheese and pepperoni sit alongside specialty combinations and requested pizzas, with pasta, salad, tacos and desserts broadening the meal. Fountain drinks are included in the advertised buffet offering. You can come interested in the food itself, or use the dining room as a gathering place between the other activities. A family outing is easier to arrange when dinner is already part of the plan.

The restaurants also have a playful visual character. Springfield’s original location uses a red exterior, checkerboard details, blue columns and a silver entrance canopy; the brand describes retro themed dining spaces inside its centers. Those settings suit a meal where pizza and cinnamon rolls are taken perfectly seriously, even if the next stop involves a go-kart. Exact attractions and their schedules differ by location and day.

Choose the local buffet hours and entertainment package separately. A buffet meal is not automatically an unlimited pass to every game or ride, and some centers offer play-only options at certain times. The buffet can close before the game room. Check the actual calendar before planning the visit around a particular attraction or evening meal, then leave enough time to enjoy both parts without treating dinner as an interruption.

FOOD

Pizza is still a large part of the meal at America’s Incredible Pizza Company, even as the brand adopts Incredible Food & Fun. The kitchen advertises dough made fresh daily and homemade pizza sauce, with cheese and pepperoni among the familiar starting choices. Specialty combinations and custom requests broaden the selection. If the pizza you want is missing from the counter, the brand invites you to ask the pizza team about making it with the ingredients available.

The sauce choices give those requests some very interesting options. Classic tomato sits alongside barbecue, Alfredo, mustard and hot-wing sauces in the broader buffet offering. Barbecue chicken on a barbecue base makes a different proposition from pepperoni over tomato, while Alfredo offers a creamy alternative. These are ingredients and combinations to discuss with the kitchen, rather than a guarantee that every possible pizza is waiting on the line.

Pepperoni, sausage, beef, ham and Canadian bacon supply several meat choices. Mushrooms, onions, green peppers, tomatoes and spinach can build a vegetable combination, with pineapple, jalapeños and olives adding more possibilities. That makes a custom request useful for more than simply asking for extra meat. You can favor a few ingredients that go together, while the rest of the family chooses whatever already looks appealing on the counter.

Pasta and other hot foods give the buffet a second substantial part. The current menu describes rotating pasta selections, soups and baked potatoes, so dinner can include something beyond pizza dough. The exact hot dishes rotate, which makes the local spread more useful than assuming a fixed national list of sauces and casseroles.

Tacos and nachos introduce another preparation altogether. The buffet offers available meats, cheese, toppings and sauces with soft or crunchy choices, letting you assemble a savory combination away from the pizza section. The salad bar provides vegetables, dressings and fruit alongside them. Those sections are part of why this works as a family meal even when everyone isn’t equally enthusiastic about eating pizza for dinner.

Chicken is worth checking against the day’s featured menu. The brand advertises barbecue or hot-wing evenings, Saturday sweet-and-sour chicken and Sunday fried chicken, with local participation and supplies determining what is served. These features add variety to the ordinary buffet; they should not be mistaken for daily choices at every center.

Dessert has its own recognizable favorites: cinnamon rolls, cobblers, cookies and soft serve. A cinnamon roll gives the bakery side of the buffet some attention, while cobbler offers a fruit-based alternative to another piece of dough. Soft serve can make a simpler finish. The range is comfortably familiar, and broad enough that the person who came for pizza and the person already thinking about dessert have equally good reasons to return to the dining room.
