Kingdom Sushi opened its newest restaurant on Friday, October 30, at 9240 Miley Drive in Winter Garden, FL. For the Orlando-born chain, it is Florida location number ten; for diners around Hamlin Town Center and Horizon West, it is one more place to settle in for a proper succession of sushi rounds without crossing the metro area.
Kingdom Sushi calls its format sushi rodizio: guests pay a set all-you-can-eat price, select dishes from the menu, and receive freshly prepared orders at the table. There is no buffet line to patrol. The lineup ranges from nigiri, sashimi, rolls and temaki to cooked Japanese dishes and desserts, with an à la carte option for anyone not committing to the full tour.
Regular, Premium and a few Brazilian surprises
The restaurant offers Regular and Premium AYCE menus. Its Winter Garden location page advertises a $35.90 Regular lunch special Monday through Thursday until 4 p.m. and a $44.90 Regular dinner. Published starting prices for Premium are $45.90 at lunch and $53.90 at dinner. Premium builds on the standard selections with additional dishes rather than replacing them; diners should check the current menu for the applicable sitting.
There is plenty of Japanese sushi here, but the Brazilian influence is what gives Kingdom its own little accent. Gunga by Kingdom combines fried shrimp and cream cheese wrapped in salmon and finished with a panko crust. Shrimp coxinha brings a Brazilian-style fried snack to the table, while the Romeo & Juliet Roll takes the guava-and-cheese pairing into dessert territory inside a crisp harumaki wrapper. It is a menu where one more round can turn into an entirely different cuisine.
Premium diners can also explore hot teppan dishes, including seafood grilled in butter and the Teppan Salmon Supreme, a salmon fillet stuffed with shrimp, cream cheese and scallions. Elsewhere on the menu are miso soup, Japanese fried rice, yakisoba and other non-sushi options. Dessert is part of the AYCE experience, not a separate negotiation at the end.
A Florida rollout that started on International Drive
The chain traces its beginnings to August 2019, when its first restaurant opened on Orlando’s International Drive. Boca Raton and Jacksonville followed in 2023; Tampa and Windermere arrived in 2024. The company introduced Premium AYCE during its 2025 expansion, then added Clermont in April 2026 and Lake Nona in June before the Winter Garden opening this fall.
The newest restaurant is open daily from noon to 11 p.m., with reservations, bar seating and a private room listed for the Miley Drive location. The chain also advertises a birthday AYCE offer and a Tuesday-and-Wednesday children’s promotion, each subject to its stated terms and qualifying adult orders. Details appear on its official specials page.
For guests already familiar with Kingdom Sushi, Winter Garden is a new address for a familiar ritual: order a few favorites, make room for something unexpected, and remember that dessert is still on the menu. The restaurant’s October 30 opening announcement confirms the doors are now open.
