GoGo Pot Plans AYCE Rotary Hot Pot in Salem Oregon

The Hillsboro operator has registered its next restaurant at the former Nagoya on Center Street.

GoGo Pot has confirmed that a Salem, Oregon, restaurant is coming soon, with state records placing GoGo Pot & Sushi Bar at 3760 Center Street NE. The address belongs to the former Nagoya Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi, near Target and beside Kkoki Korean BBQ.

The operator’s official account identifies its format as all-you-can-eat rotary hot pot and lists Salem as the next location after Hillsboro. An October 22 discussion on Salem’s Reddit community adds a recent progress report: residents described GoGo Pot signage outside and work continuing inside. An opening date has not been announced.

This project has been on the local radar for several months. Community business watcher Lisa K. Sturm Rozell reported an interior-improvement filing in June. Oregon’s September 22 business registration identifies GoGo Pot & Sushi Bar under GoGo Pot Salem LLC at the Center Street address.

The building has already changed dining assignments once before. Nagoya followed Red Robin, which moved to Willamette Town Center. The next chapter replaces the Japanese steakhouse setting with a concept whose established Hillsboro restaurant puts an individual broth pot in front of each diner and sends ingredient dishes around on a conveyor.

Hillsboro gives us something more useful than a logo to consider. Coverage of its May grand opening documented tomato, miso, mushroom, pork-bone and tom yum broths alongside spicy beef-tallow and green-peppercorn options. Standard meat selections included lamb shoulder, pork belly, chicken breast, brisket and Angus chuck, with additional Wagyu cuts in the premium tier.

Seafood, vegetables, mushrooms, noodles and tofu circulated on the belt, while a separate sauce bar allowed the usual highly personal negotiations over garlic, sesame and heat. That is the documented Hillsboro setup; Salem’s own lineup, including the sushi portion suggested by its registered name, is still to come.

For price context, May’s Hillsboro opening coverage listed $24.95 weekday lunch, standard dinner starting at $34.95 and a $47.95 premium option, with higher standard dinner rates on Fridays, weekends and holidays. Those are historical Hillsboro figures, rather than announced Salem prices.

Salem now has a named operator, a registered address and visible signs of work at a familiar restaurant building. The remaining details are the ones prospective regulars will want next: the opening day, the local menu and what each AYCE tier will include.
