Shaan Indian Cuisine is bringing its lunch buffet back to Cincinnati, Ohio, beginning October 23, giving buffet regulars three days a week to revisit the Paxton Avenue restaurant.
The restaurant’s return announcement lists Friday, Saturday and Sunday service from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Adults are $17.99, and children under 13 are $11.99. The same schedule and prices appear on Shaan’s dedicated buffet page.
This is Shaan Indian Cuisine at 3880-I Paxton Avenue in Hyde Park Plaza, in the Oakley area. It is a separate restaurant from New Shaan on Red Bank Road, a distinction worth keeping straight before anyone starts comparing buffet plans.
The restaurant’s broader menu covers familiar North Indian favorites, including chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, lamb curries, biryani and naan. It also lists vegetarian dishes such as bhartha, aloo matar and matar paneer. A specific buffet lineup or dish count has not been published, so those menu favorites should be treated as a picture of the kitchen rather than a guarantee of what will fill every pan.
Still, the announcement answers the most pressing question for people who have missed this buffet: when they can come back. Friday lunch is included, alongside both weekend days.
Shaan has been part of the plaza’s dining lineup since 2009. A Cincinnati Bites review published that August described a visit shortly after the restaurant’s grand opening in the former India Hyde Park space. Earlier customer comments on the review also remember the lunch buffet, giving this return some history beyond a new social-media flyer.
Shaan’s announcement gives October 23 as the start of the resumed service. It does not specify the earlier buffet’s final date.
Shaan continues to offer its regular restaurant menu, takeout and catering. For buffet visits and information, the restaurant lists 513-533-3100.
