140 Grill Plans Brazilian Rodízio and Buffet Opening in Milford, Massachusetts

The West Street restaurant pairs tableside churrasco with a buffet and Portuguese specialties.

140 Grill plans to begin serving Brazilian rodízio and buffet meals in Milford, Massachusetts, the week of October 26. The restaurant is preparing to open at 194 West Street, Suite 12, with Portuguese specialties joining its tableside churrasco and buffet.

The restaurant announced the opening window October 20, according to Patch’s October 21 report. An exact opening day has not been announced. For a project that first appeared before the Select Board last November, Milford has had time to work up an appetite.

The plan combines rodízio service with a buffet featuring Brazilian and Portuguese dishes. During the licensing process, the owners’ representative described waiters carving and serving unlimited meats at the table. The restaurant has not yet published the cuts, buffet rotation or AYCE prices.

There is more to the concept than the meat rounds. The restaurant’s website also lists a separately priced Portuguese menu, including garlic shrimp with bread, clams with garlic, cilantro and white wine, and chouriço bombeiro. Moelas brings chicken gizzards simmered in sauce, while torresmo com mandioca pairs crisp pork belly with fried yuca.

Salt cod gets several treatments, including bacalhau à Brás with potatoes and egg. Other dishes include pork with littleneck clams, chicken Mozambique and caldo verde, the potato-and-kale soup with Portuguese sausage. These are à-la-carte listings, so they should not be mistaken for a promise that every dish will appear on the buffet.

Behind the restaurant are Carlos Benjamin and Carlos R. DePaula Goncalves, identified as the owners in Milford’s November 17, 2025 meeting minutes. Benjamin is also listed as manager. The record notes his two decades operating Isabellas in town, giving the new restaurant an established local connection.

The board initially approved food, limited alcohol and live-entertainment licenses subject to health approval after kitchen construction. A December hearing followed for an all-alcohol license. By April, local reporting described a roughly 3,000-square-foot restaurant with room for 125 guests, plus plans for occasional singing and guitar.

The October announcement finally puts a near-term opening window on that work. Buffet and rodízio prices, service hours and the specific day the doors will open are still to come.
