E-Gyu is adding Japanese chashu pork and smoked duck to its all-you-can-eat sushi-and-Korean-BBQ offering in Georgia. The restaurant is promoting the additions through its social accounts, with official menus and location pages providing more detail on the new meats.
The operation has restaurants on Buford Highway in Doraville and Jesse Jewell Parkway in Gainesville. Its Gainesville website describes the chashu as tender, slow-braised pork belly and explicitly advertises the smoked duck breast at both locations.
The duck appears in the BBQ menu as smoked boneless duck breast. Chashu brings a prepared, braised pork option into an offering that already includes familiar grill cuts such as pork belly and bulgogi. That gives returning diners a reason to look past their usual meat order.
Both restaurant pages advertise the combined sushi-and-KBBQ AYCE meal at $39.99 per person. Children ages 4–8 are listed at $19.99, and the Gainesville site says children 3 and younger eat free.
The adult price is not itself a new development. October 2024 reporting on the Gainesville project already documented a $39.99 AYCE meal and a $19.99 child rate. The present update is the food added to that established format.
E-Gyu’s dining model combines revolving sushi with table grills. Eater’s January 2020 opening coverage described covered sushi dishes moving along a conveyor belt, touchscreen ordering and inset grills for cooking meats at the table. The sushi belt supplies one part of the meal while the grill takes care of another—a format with little incentive to order only one category.
The Doraville restaurant was among the recent openings covered in that 2020 report. The Gainesville expansion appeared in October 2024 development coverage, which identified a former Shoney’s and, later, Hong Kong King Buffet space at 635 Jesse Jewell Parkway. The second restaurant’s official page now confirms that it is operating.
Current menu material also lists lamb, chicken and seafood alongside the beef and pork selections. Separate promotions mention chicken tsukune and negima skewers, although the available announcements do not establish that those dishes launched on the same date as the chashu and duck.
Doraville’s customer-facing address is 5979 Buford Highway NE, Suite A2; Gainesville is at 635 Jesse Jewell Parkway. The official Doraville menu lists chashu pork and smoked duck alongside the wider selection.
