Winston-Salem’s long-awaited KPOT is serving. The Korean BBQ and hot-pot restaurant opened October 6 at 1615 Fox Trot Court, giving a project first reported in early 2025 an actual opening date at last.
The official Winston-Salem location page confirms the opening and publishes branch-specific prices. Adults pay $20.99 for weekday lunch, excluding holidays, and $30.99 for dinner. Choosing both Korean BBQ and hot pot adds $5 per person, bringing the combined adult meal to $25.99 at lunch or $35.99 at dinner.
Lunch pricing runs from opening until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Dinner pricing applies after 4 p.m. on weekdays and throughout weekends and holidays. Children ages 4–6 pay $7.99 at lunch or $11.99 at dinner; ages 7–10 pay $11.99 or $15.99.
The whole table chooses Korean BBQ, hot pot or both, and the restaurant lists a two-hour dining limit. The combined option is particularly relevant to anyone whose dinner plans routinely become a debate between broth and a grill. Here, the additional $5 settles it.
KPOT’s company menu includes beef bulgogi, brisket, garlic chicken and pork belly among the grill selections. Hot-pot soup bases range from tomato and mushroom to Japanese miso and Thai tom yum. Meals also include access to the hot appetizer and sauce bars, with dessert selections varying by restaurant. The company notes that individual menu offerings can differ by location.
The building has changed cuisines more than once. October 12 coverage from the Triad Business Journal identifies the space as the former Johnny’s Farmhouse. Johnny’s opened there in July 2022, according to Triad City Beat, which described the address as a former Cheddar’s restaurant.
KPOT plans were circulating by February 2025, when local coverage listed Fox Trot Court as a future location without an opening date. The October arrival completes that much longer public timeline.
The new restaurant opens at noon daily. Official closing times are 10:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with the last seating one hour before closing.
