Nigori Sushi & Grill remains in development at 3980 NE Loop 820, Suite 200, in Haltom City, Texas, where the restaurant’s official website continues to list the location as “Coming Soon.” Fort Worth-area reporting identifies Nigori specifically as an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant.
The project is part of the large H Mart-anchored development near Loop 820 and North Beach Street, which is filling with restaurants and other tenants. Nigori will eventually join It’s KBBQ & Shabu Shabu, giving the center two distinct unlimited Asian dining formats within the same complex.

The construction timeline has slipped. A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing registered in August 2025 described a $600,000 first-time interior restaurant buildout and projected completion for June 15, 2026. That date has passed without a public opening announcement.
A missed construction target does not necessarily signal a troubled project. Restaurant buildouts routinely move as permitting, inspections, equipment delivery and tenant coordination change. What matters here is that Nigori’s own site still presents Haltom City as active rather than abandoned.

The concept’s eventual arrival will add another form of AYCE to a development that is already becoming unusually dense with Asian dining. Korean barbecue and shabu shabu are operating nearby; Nigori would put made-to-order unlimited sushi into the mix.
For now, there is no responsible way to turn “coming soon” into a calendar date. The project remains alive, the original schedule is obsolete, and the opening is still something to watch rather than something to book.
